Morvich Guest House

Open throughout the year (except during Christmas and the New Year). Morvich is a substantial bungalow that offers guests beautiful scenery, super views, a high standard of B&B and a warm welcome. Morvich is a level fifteen minute walk from Fort William's shops and restaurants. Although we are an adults only guest house, young adults (14 years and over) are very welcome.

Heather & John recently returned from Canada to settle in Fort William. They fell in love with Morvich because it looks out across Loch Linnhe where sail boats pass on their way to and from the Caledonian Canal and dinghies compete in races organised by the local yacht club. Morvich offers top quality comfortable rooms; a great bed, fabulous surroundings and a wonderful breakfast.

Accommodation providers will often claim to be close to local amenities, we claim to be a 15 minute walk from the main street for restaurants and shops. We walk there and back regularly and it only takes us about 10 minutes, but taking in the scenery will take a little longer. Our facilities include free WiFi, off-street parking, and secure storage for cycles. We prepare packed lunches (for a charge) and chilled packed breakfasts for early risers. We also provide a laundry service at a reasonable rate for guests on extended stays (5kg mixed load washed, dried and folded), a great help to know when you are planning your holiday luggage.

For breakfast we offer a range of cereals, fruits, juices, yogurts, a full cooked breakfast, or one of our lighter options. We always use top quality smoked bacon and best quality sausages; our guests tell us that they really enjoy our food. Our customers also tell us they get a great night's sleep; having invested in superior quality beds we are not surprised. Our two bedrooms with king sized beds have large picture windows overlooking Loch Linnhe, our other rooms have a little more space, larger bathrooms and ‘Velux’ windows.
